Closet Burner 12" and Big Distro Update

First things first... the Closet Burner 12" is nearly ready.  Sorry it has taken a bit longer than anticipated, but the records are here and they look and sound great - right now we just have to finish all the screenprinting!!  The official release will be on August 10th, there are still a small number of the special edition covers up for grabs, so if you want one, make sure to preorder before the 10th.  Check the Tumblr soon for process pics and such.

Additionally, I have jumped in to help release the Rat Storm/Chaotic Neutral split and those have been ordered and should be here in mid-September.  The Mary and Child tape should be out in a couple weeks and songs will be posted online within a day or to.

Also a big distro update:
email me realityisacult@gmail.com to place an order.  Shipping will be reasonable ($3-4 for a single record and a only a little more per additional record).

7":
Rotting Palms - S/T - $4
-- Young punks from Tampa playing bludgeoning angry crusty hardcore in the vein of His Hero is Gone.

Cloud Rat/Autarkeia Split - $4
-- Split between Cloud Rat from MI, who are one of my favorite bands and play pissed fast as hell hardcore with seething female vocals.  Autarkeia is from FL and play a whole different type of pissed hardcore, more reminiscent of 90s emo, also female-fronted, also awesome.  This split has some of my favorite tracks from both bands!

Hexis - X - $4
-- Hexis is from Denmark and they play a totally unique blend of black metal and hardcore.  It's dark and heavy and perfect.  Not super fast, but still steadily pounding with the urgency of music played at twice the speed.

We Need To Talk - It's Not Us, It's You (Royal Blue Vinyl) - $4
-- Totally raging, grinding hardcore that sounds a bit like Left for Dead. Came out a few years ago and flew under the radar in much of the midwest, which is a total shame, because this shit rips.

Control De Estado - Ladron - $4
-- This is like Crudos and Dropdead in a blender.  The cover is a really awesome screenprinted foldup with a beautiful screen printed poster on the inside, officially out of print probably will be hard to find soon.

Light Bearer/Northless Split - $11
-- Brand new release on Halo of Flies.  This is a heavy heavy record between two bands that are both doing something truly original and relevant.  Comes in a gorgeous gatefold. If you like heavy music, you should own this.

Lich/Resurrectionists Split - $11
-- Another amazing split.  This features Resurrectionists from Germany who play totally chaotic hardcore that is amazingly technical and precise yet also always sounds on the verge of collapse.  Lich is from the UK and they have a more powerviolence sound - slow and noisy and bursts of blasts and insanity. Comes in awesome dark screenprinted gatefolds.

Kam Kama - The Tiled House (White 180 gram vinyl) - $12
-- Another gorgeous looking release, but this is one is from Bloomington locals Kam Kama.  Kam Kama play damn good post punk.  It has a unique gothic overtone and is full of energetic riffs and hooks that will stick in your head for weeks.  Highly recommended for anyone that likes classic 70s and 80s goth and post punk, but is looking for something more relevant.

Potty Mouth - Sun Damage - $10
-- Just released. Potty Mouth is a band of ass-kicking girls for Western Mass that play a fantastic blend of indie and alternative but with the spirit and edge of punk.

Inservibles - S/T - $14
-- Ugly, weird, noisy punk.  This has everything that modern punk is usually missing.  Just buy it, you should hear it.

Negative Standards - VI - XI - $11
A fantastic follow up to the 10".  More killer otherworldly dark crusty hardcore.  Artwork is appropriately creepy.

Crucifix - Dehumanization (on limited edition Clear out of only 113) - $12
-- It's a classic, and it should be.  It's snotty and raw and crusty and everything great about hardcore in 1983

Her Breath on Glass - We Aimed Straight Down - $8
-- Classic noisy 90s style emo.  Members of The Last Forty Seconds and The Saddest Landscape.  Gorgeous screen printed covers.

Heresy - Face Up to It!  (1 on White 1 on Bright Yellow) - $15
-- Another classic that is tough to find.  It's Heresy... if you like hardcore, you probably like it.  If you don't own it, buy it now.  It's not too easy to find and it's certainly not getting easier.
Man Lifting Banner - The Revolution Continues (2xLP) - $16
-- I have been waiting to get this for months!  Man Lifting Banner is members of Larm and Seein' Red and they are honestly my favorite band out of that lot (which is saying a lot).  This features 8 brand new tracks (and they still make killer hardcore, don't worry) as well as their entire previous discography that is damn hard to get on vinyl (trust me, I've been trying) - so it is certainly worth it.
Electro Hippies - The Only Good Punk is a Dead One

Masakari - The Prophet Feeds (Gatefold Cover) - $10
-- From Halo of Flies: “Finally a new record from this awesome band from Cleveland! Close your eyes and imagine that His Hero is Gone and Amebix got together and had a child… got it? Ok, now imagine that that child grows up in a dank room full of teenage angst, listening to nothing but Death Side and Disfear records until he is 21 years-old. Now open your eyes and what you have is Masakari, a crust punk band from Cleveland, Ohio.”  I think that sums it up.

Assitot Mort - Discographie (2xLP Gatefold) - $15
-- Complete discography of this fantastic French screamo. Members of Amanda Woodward.

Lentic Waters - LP - $11
-- I originally got interested in this record because I thought the artwork was awesome... turns out the record is even more awesome.  This is dark building heaviness that periodically breaks way into blasts of chaotic hardcore.  Packaging combine letterpress, screenprinting, and pasted paper - and it looks awesome.

Gentle Art of Choking - LP - $10
-- Killer powerviolence/fastcore blasts!

Electro Hippies - The Only Good Punk is a Dead One - $15
-- Pre-Napalm Death.  It's totally raging peaceville crust.  I absolutely love this band. Yummy.

Cassettes:
Potty Mouth - Big in Brazil - $3
-- Two killer tracks on a bright orange tape in a see-thru green case.  Looks as good as it sounds!

Chemical Peel - Bad Cream - $3
-- Wicked surfy/noisy/garage/punk from SC.  It's good good good!
Plus LOTS of stuff from previous post is still in the distro!
